NARS Foundation + ‘Whirl’ Mac Lip-Liner

AmazonFavorites2018-006-4I was on the hunt for a new foundation, but we all know this can be a scary process. It’s so difficult finding the exact color to match our undertone. I have purchased so many foundations, after trying them on at the store to then come back home under a different light and being horrified. I’ve been a loyal consumer of Youngblood cosmetics for a long time but my foundation was looking too orange now that it’s winter. I haven’t been out in the sun so I needed to find something with a cooler undertone. I was walking around too orange, I felt like Trump! How to: Time Management, Success + Prioritizing

It’s been a couple of weeks since I posted a blog entry. I can share with you just how busy I’ve been with school projects and pilot season in Los Angeles. As some of you know I am an actor in LA and a full-time student. I was planning on sharing how overwhelmed I’ve been and therefore explain my brief absence from my blog. But last night, I watched a TEDTalk that was assigned by my history professor and it shifted my point of view on prioritizing. I had come across this lecture before yet listening to it again reminded me of the importance of time management, organization and discipline.

WOMEN’S MARCH 2018 | LOS ANGELES | PHOTOS + SIGNS

With the chaos of politics all around us, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and suffocated under the constant drama surrounding our current President. However, I believe it is crucial to stay informed and get involved in whatever cause you believe in. When many gather with a common objective, change can occur. I stopped briefly at the 2nd annual Women’s March in Downtown Los Angeles in the late afternoon. Continue reading “Women’s March 2018 Los Angeles | Photos + Signs”

What to do when it rains in LA? LEAVE! | Sister Winter Spa Day |Glen Ivy Hot Springs Review| 2018

After a little road trip of an hour and a half I arrived at the beautiful Glen Ivy Spa in Corona, Ca and met my sister Angie for a promising spa day. She greeted me with a smile, and although there was light rain, we were determined to make the best out of it. This was her big day, her 29th birthday!

Get Ready with Me + [Bronze and Glowing Skin ]

Doing my make-up is so relaxing, if time permits of course. Although, this is usually not the case. If you ever spot me, you will find me in a bun, minimal makeup like tinted moisturizer and mascara, t-shirt and jeans, and my glasses. I am definitely not one of those girls that can put on an entire face in 20 min! But I somehow managed to edit this video down to under 9 minutes. Dear Trump: Our Era Will Not Be Defined By You

Immigration Activists, DACA, and Fear

With the many disasters we are facing; Hurricane Harvey, the fires in Los Angeles, Hurricane Irma, and Trump’s move to end Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) it is now, more than ever, that we are witnessing the voices of this generation. I am an immigrant. I was born in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. I became a U.S. citizen in 2001. I can’t begin to imagine what many, under what was suppose to be the “protection” of DACA, feel right now. Although, I became a citizen at ten years old, this country feels more like a home than my country of birth. Those that may be impacted by the ending of DACA have been here long before me.  Continue reading “Dear Trump: Our Era Will Not Be Defined By You”
